They have awesome cabins tucked away in the woods. The small lake is good for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. The trails are easy for hiking and bicycling. The only negative for now is there are no private showers in the park.

The park is a beautiful place. It is VERY frustarting that you do not have a private shower anywhere in the park. There is a VERY PUBLIC shower. It has see through walls and is in the middle of the day use area. Where people can watch you or your children shower all they want to. Not to mention the RV with tinted windows that is parked 10 feet away from the shower.

The park has three new cabins for over night stay. And building more cabins. No RV camping. Good size pond to fish from. Playground for kids.

What a great little park. Nice history of the area. I like the very clear pond for swimming or fishing or just canoeing. You will love it

Fun place to visit swimming in lake or taking kids fishing but the fee is 3:00 dollars not free anymore.

When we came to these cabins we had to park in a parking lot and walk over a bridge then up a steeper than I would've liked rocky trail to your cabin. While it is a "short walk" it is not a fun one in the middle of July at 105. I had two small kids, and a handicapp husband. I had to carry almost all the gear up to my cabin myself. It was HOT, and would've been SOOOO much easier had I been able to park in front of my cabin. Considering that every other campsite normally lets you park right in front of your cabin. There is even a road in front of the cabins, they just dont let the guest drive on them.

It is not fun to have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and take that walk down the rocky unsure footed path to the potty. A handicapp person could NOT have done it for sure. My husbands back is very bad and he had a very hard time with it durning the day. I could not imagine him having to take the path at night. Really NOT COOL.
